comes to Melbourne & Brisbane in 2024
Join RUPES® Australia’s local crew of expert craftsmen, along with Jason Rose (RUPES® Global Director of Training) for a series of workshops hosted across two states.
Are you a beginner to the world of polishing? Our half-day Introduction to Polishing workshop in Melbourne, will bring you up to date with all things RUPES and allow you to get hands-on with our latest tools.
For the more experienced users, we’re bringing our Paint Correction & Enhancement Master Class to both Melbourne and Brisbane. Designed to satisfy higher skilled DIYers and professionals, this intensive and hands-on 2-day course will take your paint correction skills to the next level.
We’ll be showcasing and discussing new RUPES® products and techniques, giving you hands-on experience with a mixture of theory and a heavy lean on the practical application of skills.
Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase a range of RUPES® products including polishers, sanders, compounds and merchandise at the events.

Jason Rose
Global director of training, rupes®
Jason Rose is widely recognised as one of the preeminent authorities on automotive surface care. His decades of experience as a technician and a trainer who has traveled the world make him a wealth of knowledge for students to soak in. His passion, enthusiasm for technical training, and commitment to excellence are at the heart of each class conducted at the BigFoot Detailing Academy.
Jason manages daily activities in the BigFoot Detailing Academy, including class structure, schedule, content, and development. When he isn’t leading one of our world-class training programs, he is hard at work testing and developing new RUPES products. His skills as a trainer and specialist in the industry make his trainings some of the most sought after in the world, and we are lucky to have him at the helm of our flagship training center.

Thinking about travelling to Melbourne or Brisbane for our training events, but not sure what you’ll need to do?Below you’ll find some helpful tips about getting there, where to stay, and what you’ll need.

Flights
Air travel should be booked into Melbourne Airportor Brisbane Airport.
• Melbourne Airport is between 50min – 1hr15min from the Melbourne training location.
• Brisbane Airport is between 30min – 55min from the Brisbane training location.
Meals
For any full-day classes, we will provide morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. If you have a specific food allergy please let us know in advance so we can make arrangements for you.
Dinners after class are on your own, but we encourage students to plan meals together as a networking opportunity.
Training Cost
The total price of the class is described in the registration link and varies by class type/duration.
Registration fees cover the class only. Airfare, hotel, and other transportation are not included.
Where to stay
If traveling and staying overnight, there might be limited options close to the venues. Search within 10km of postcodes 3171 or 4127, and account for traffic in regards to course starting times.
Transportation
It is recommended you rent a car for transport from the airport to the hotel, and then from the hotel to the facility.
If you prefer UBER or Taxi’s, both provide services in the area.
Tools & Supplies
RUPES® LIVE is fully stocked with all the tools and supplies you’ll need to complete the training.
If you would like to bring your tool with you to train with feel free, but it is not required. Just make sure it’s clearly marked with your name as we cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, or theft.
